“Beautiful Chaos” is out now on WAKAAN
My latest collaboration with Defunk and Noetika, “Beautiful Chaos,” arrived on October 27, 2026 via WAKAAN. This one brings soulful melodic textures, funk-inspired grooves, experimental bass and live rap vocals together in a way that represents the sound I call Basshop.
This track has been in the works for a few years. When I wrote the lyrics, I was going through a difficult period and struggling to stay present. Music has always been part of how I process things, and that experience became part of the song.
I first discovered Noetika through a comment on Instagram and reached out after listening to his productions. Defunk and I have worked together for years, so hearing he was involved in the collaboration made it even more special.
